Javanese
A talkative, silky-coated cousin of the Siamese with non-traditional point colours.
The Javanese is the long-haired variety of the Colorpoint Shorthair — itself a Siamese variant bred in non-traditional point colours such as lynx point, tortie point, and cream point. With the same slender, elegant body type and distinctive vocalness of its Siamese relatives, the Javanese has a fine, silky single coat that surprisingly requires less grooming than its length suggests. It is an intensely people-oriented cat.
